Adjustments and lack of sleep

Well, it has been a week of adjustments, trying to get adjust to being a family of six. All the kids are doing pretty well with it all, just tired of being stuck in the house. I am recovering slowly but surely and I am sure I am doing more than I am supposed to be. It is hard having 2 kids under 2, Caitlyn still requires a lot of help and because Brett works so much I have to pick her up and do a lot of things I know I am not supposed to be doing but it must be done. The kids and I are enjoying going to the park for summer lunch, it saves me having to make lunch and gives us all a welcomed chance to get out of the house for at least a little while. The lack of the sleep for all of us is starting to catch up, the kids aer bouncing off the wall from being overtired and Brett and I are tired because Daelynne thinks that she needs to fuss from 10pm-3 am and Brennan thinks it time for cartoons and breakfast shortly after 7am. So I am lucky if I get 5hrs of sleep a night, oh well sleep is overrated anyways. Below are some pics of the kids from this past week, I love them all and am so blessed to have four beautiful children.

Miss Daelynne Elizabeth

We are excited to announce the latest addition to our family. Daelynne Elizabeth Tedford joined our family on Monday June 7, 2010. I was scheduled for a c-section on the 14th but I guess she decided that she wanted to pick her own birthday. I woke up at about 5 in the morning rolled over and felt the weirdest sensation...my water had broken( it didn't break with any of my other children). I thought no way, this is not supposed to happen today! I proceeded to throw myself into a panic...I thought I still had a week to prepare my children and get my act together. I woke Brett up up, call my brother to watch the other kids and off we went. Daelynne was born at 8:01 am weighing in at 5lb1oz and was 17 inches long. I was so surprised that she was so tiny but I guess the sweetest thing come in small packages. This has been my hardest recovery yet and will be very happy when life returns to some sense of normal( whatever that is). I don't know how I would have survived such a hard, painful week without the help of my awesome mother in law, who has taken the week away from her home and husband to come care for me and my children. I am so blessed and am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who continues to bless me and my family!
